Comprehensive Cardiometabolic & Lipidomics Testing
Complete Bio Solutions Inc offers a full suite of lipid and cardiometabolic assays using enzymatic, immunoturbidimetric, and vertical auto profile (VAP) methods. Our CLIA-certified laboratory provides standard lipid panels (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides), advanced lipoprotein subfractionation (LDL particle number, small dense LDL, HDL subclasses), apolipoprotein quantification (ApoB, ApoA1, Lp(a)), and inflammatory markers (hs-CRP, homocysteine, fibrinogen). We support both clinical cardiovascular risk assessment and research studies in atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, and diabetes.
Our Lipidomics Workflow
From serum/plasma collection to final report, we follow standardized protocols with stringent quality controls. For advanced subfractionation, we use density gradient ultracentrifugation or NMR-based methodologies. Results include reference ranges and calculated risk ratios (e.g., LDL/HDL, ApoB/ApoA1).
- Standard panel: Total cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C (calculated or direct), triglycerides, non-HDL-C
- Advanced: LDL particle number (LDL-P), small dense LDL, HDL2/HDL3 subfractions
- Risk markers: ApoB, ApoA1, Lp(a), hs-CRP, homocysteine, lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2)
Frequently Asked Questions about Cardiometabolic Testing
We accept serum (red-top tube) or plasma (EDTA or lithium heparin). Fasting for 9-12 hours is recommended for standard panels, but many advanced tests (including ApoB, Lp(a), and non-HDL-C) can be performed non-fasting. Collection kits with stabilizers are provided at no extra charge.
Routine turnaround: 24 hours for standard panels, 48-72 hours for advanced subfractionation and apolipoproteins. Stat/emergency requests can be expedited to 12-24 hours upon prior arrangement.
Yes. Our laboratory is CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited. Standard lipid panels use FDA-cleared assays. Advanced subfractionation and apolipoprotein methods are validated and reference range–based. Results can be used for clinical diagnosis, risk stratification, and treatment monitoring.
